Risty Benefits, Inc. (RBI) was founded in 2004 by Roger R. Risty.

Risty Benefits provides insurance coverage to large companies, city, county and state government, small businesses, individuals and families from top-rated insurance providers.

The company’s original location was on the first floor of Sioux Falls’ Shriver Square. The company consisted of Risty and a single full-time office manager. The business focused exclusively on employee benefits such as medical, life, disability, long-term care and voluntary benefits, as well as pension and profit-sharing plans.

In January 2008, the business moved to its present location in a space encompassing approximately 1,500 square feet. Risty Benefits has grown from an original two employees to now six, five of whom are full-time. In addition to employee benefits, Risty Benefits sells property and casualty insurance for both individuals and businesses.

Risty Benefits, Inc. is a member of the following organizations:
